Overview

This course is designed for Fire Wardens who need to refresh their knowledge of fire safety procedures, regulations, and their role within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO).

The course has been developed to cover a broad range of emergencies and facilities as considered in Australian Standard 3745 and Australian Standard 4083. Stay up to date with best practices and enhance your ability to respond effectively in an emergency. By completing this course, students will gain a basic understanding of:

• Safe work practices

• Planning for emergencies

• How to identify fire hazards

• Risk management processes and control measures

• Emergency signs, signals and warnings

• Emergency systems and equipment • Evacuation procedures

• How to operate within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO)

• Emergency response procedures

• Fire and emergency prevention

• Implementing post initial response actions and reporting

Assessment

Learning content is provided in an online format within the course. The assessment component consists of multiple choice questions.

When all the learning has been completed and you have correctly answered all the theory questions, you will receive an email regarding your certificate. 

Work your way through each of the sections. All sections must be completed.
